General, all level class combining standing and seated positions with held stretches.
Service Description
Hatha is derived from “Ha” meaning sun (warm) and “Tha” meaning moon (cool). Yoga means to "unite". Hatha Yoga focuses on stretching positions (Asana) combined with breath and concentration to “unite” the mind and body. In the west, Hatha focuses on a range of standing or seated static poses to stretch or strengthen the body and uses breath to focus the mind. Hatha yoga can be easily modified for beginners or advanced clients depending on the intensity of the positions and props used. Intensity Level: Low to High depending on the participant’s mobility, use of props and modifications desired. Participants should be able to get up and down from their mat easily.
